A Booth Built for B2B Conversations

Modern Z returned to the China International Furniture Fair (CIFF) in 2026 with an open-plan booth designed around one goal: making it easy for buyers, designers and project partners to sit down and talk. White walls, track lighting and a bright stone-patterned floor gave the stand a clean, gallery-like feel, while clear signage at the entrance — the Modern Z logo, the company name and booth number E3B06 — helped visitors find the team within seconds. At the front, a white reception counter displayed brochures and magazines beside tall bar stools with chrome bases, inviting passers-by to stop, pick up a catalog and ask questions before stepping deeper into the display. On the wall behind the lounge area, four framed pictures — a round landscape, a botanical print and two leaf-pattern frames — hung above a light console topped with a small black cat figurine, adding a homely touch to the professional setting.

Dining Sets That Anchor the Space

At the heart of the booth, a full dining setup gave visitors an immediate sense of how the furniture works in a real room. An oval light stone-effect dining table took center stage, paired with fabric dining chairs on light timber legs and dressed with plates, glassware, a water bottle and a small vase of orange flowers. Styling the set like a lived-in dining room — rather than a row of products — made it easy for buyers to picture the pieces in their own projects. Behind the counter, a product banner presented a 2-in-1 convertible dining and lounge chair with an adjustable backrest, quality fabric, a metal swivel base and multiple color options, showing how one well-designed chair can move from meal times to lounging. Dining sets remain one of Modern Z’s core strengths, and the fully styled table was a natural entry point for visitors researching new dining collections.

A Compact Gallery of Lounge Seating

Beyond the dining area, low white display platforms turned the rest of the booth into a compact gallery of lounge seating. On one platform sat an upholstered barrel armchair in cream-and-tan striped fabric with light timber legs, a taupe-and-clay two-tone armchair pairing a woven fabric back with a leather seat on dark timber legs, and a golden-brown boucle armchair on light legs. A small pink round side table with gold metal legs and a square timber base, plus a geometric square ottoman in cream and tan, completed the vignette. Nearby, a green glass side table with stacked glass discs, a black-framed cream armchair, a dark grey low-back armchair and a round zebra-print armchair added contrast. On the back wall, the words “Quality First, Innovation-Driven, Global Expansion” set out the working philosophy behind the range.

The lounge zone also paired a low grey three-seat fabric sofa with a dark marble-effect round side table, while armchairs in grey, black and zebra print created vignettes that showed how one piece can carry a room. As the aisle scene shows, these arrangements drew steady foot traffic: at the booth’s edge, a grey modular sofa and a round timber side table gave visitors a natural place to pause and look closer, while buyers walked the aisles between displays throughout the day.

Face-to-Face: Product Talks at Our Counter

The most valuable moments at any trade show happen across a table, and our reception counter saw plenty of them. Team members stood at the counter with brochures in hand, walking visitors through the range, while guests arrived with files and phones full of questions about specifications, materials and lead times. A transparent brochure rack kept printed materials within easy reach, and the calm, unhurried pace of these conversations — two visitors sharing a single tablet to review product details, for example — reflected the way Modern Z works with partners every day: listening first, then matching the right pieces to the brief.
